Allens achieves Employer of Choice for Women status for seventh year

Allens Arthur Robinson (Allens) has been awarded the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency's Employer of Choice for Women citation for the seventh consecutive year.
Allens was one of 98 organisations awarded the citation, which is awarded to non-government organisations with more than 100 employees that have policies and practices supporting women across the organisation.
Allens Chief Executive Partner Michael Rose said the citation was testament to the work that had been done in promoting the development and advancement of women within the firm.
'However, while receiving the EOWA citation is significant, the firm will continue to seek out ways to better support and develop talented women,' Mr Rose said.
Director of People & Development Jane Lewis said the firm was determined to follow best practice when it came to providing a suitable workplace environment for women to thrive.
'One example of this was the firm's introduction of up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave, which began in January this year,' Ms Lewis said.
