Allens Arthur Robinson's Intellectual Property Group recognised as industry leaders

22 August 2002

Allens Arthur Robinson's Intellectual Property Group has capped off an impressive few months by becoming the only Australian IP firm to be nominated as a finalist for the International Intellectual Property Law Firm award at the recent Chambers Global Awards 2002.

This nomination is the latest in a string of recent achievements for our IP lawyers and patent and trade marks attorneys.

Our team received recognition with Chambers Global naming us the leading IP law firm in Australia 2002-2003 and Lawyers Weekly also naming us Australian IP law firm of the year 2002-2003.

Global Counsel also named us the leading IP practice in Australia 2002-2003 and recognised AAR IP partner Philip Kerr as one of the world's Top 10 patent lawyers - the only Australian to appear on the list. Several of the firm's IP partners, including Michael Dowling, Jim Dwyer, Tim Golder, Richard Hamer and Philip Kerr were also recommended by Chambers Global 2002 as leaders in their field.

Intellectual Property Group Practice Leader Jim Dwyer said: "These awards are evidence of the enormous depth of intellectual property experience in our firm and our strong international reputation."
