She has advised on and implemented the strategic defence of a portfolio of patent owned by another international pharmaceutical client that is being challenged before the Australian Patent Office, as well as representing that client in a challenge to the validity of a competitor's patent application. More recently, Linda has provided validity and infringement advice to an industrial client as part of a review of its IP portfolio to identify commercial opportunities to leverage its IP. For another client, Linda is handling several applications before the Australian Patent Office to extend the terms of granted patents covering commercially significant pharmaceutical products. Linda has also advised Australian clients in relation to securing patent protection for their inventions in Australia and overseas and provided advice on the commercialisation of those patent portfolios.
