Webinar will open in a new tab. Select 'already registered' and enter your email, or provide your details to view.

Covered in this webinar:

  • Financial Accountability Regime (FAR) – legislation to enact the eagerly awaited FAR is intended to pass in the Spring 2021 sittings of Parliament, and come into force for ADIs and their NOHCs in 2022, and all other APRA regulated entities in 2023. In this webinar, we will provide a refresher on 'how we got here' and the key objectives which underpin the regime, along with an overview of what the FAR will mean for entities and directors and senior executives as accountable persons. We will also share our learnings from the Banking Executive Accountability Regime, and highlight several points that may warrant further attention from Treasury before the Bill is finalised later this year.
  • Anti-hawking Regime – the new Anti-hawking Regime will commence on 5 October 2021. ASIC has released an updated Regulatory Guide 38 draft, and will publish final guidance in September 2021. We will provide a refresher on the key requirements of the new regime and ASIC's draft guidance, and discuss a number of practical scenarios and how the regime will apply to them.
