Allens has been named Best Financial Law Firm Australia 2016 by FinanceAsia at its annual awards.
Managing Partner, Richard Spurio said he was delighted to have the firm's work on market-leading transactions recognised.

In addition to winning Best Financial Law Firm Australia, Allens' work on the following deals was also recognised:
- Best M&A deal: Ausgrid long-term lease (A$16.2 billion)
- Best project finance deal: Victoria International Container Terminal (Webb Dock) (A$398 million)
- Most innovative deal: Asciano takeover (A$12.2 billion).
The awards were presented at an event held in Sydney on 7 February 2017.
