Significant transactions in which Igor has been involved include advising:
  • Rio Tinto – on its acquisition of the Owendale Scandium Project in NSW, and its acquisition of an interest in Sovereign Metals (rutile / graphite in Malawi)
  • Global Infrastructure Partners – on the acquisition for US2.5bn of an interest in Shell’s QCLNG common infrastructure facilities
  • Global Infrastructure Partners – on the acquisition for US2bn of an interest in Woodside’s WA Pluto LNG Train 2
  • Global Infrastructure Partners – on the acquisition of interests in TotalEnergies' infrastructure interests in the Gladstone LNG Project
  • Santos – on its sale of Darwin LNG interests to SK Energy
  • INPEX – on its joint venture and shareholder arrangements for the Ichthys LNG Project, as well as on various disposals of project interests by INPEX to, among others, Tokyo Gas, Toho Gas and Chubu
  • Viva Energy – on its proposed LNG import terminal project in Geelong, Victoria
  • Wesfarmers – on the offtake arrangements and due diligence associated with the acquisition of WA lithium company, Kidman Resources

  • AngloGold Ashanti – on the Australian aspects of its NYSE listing and redomiciling to the UK, its sale of an interest in the Boddington Gold Mine and acquisition of interests in the Northern NSW Macquarie Arc Project
  • Rio Tinto – on the development of the Oyu Tolgoi copper project in Mongolia, including on the concession and joint venture agreement with the Government of Mongolia, copper concentrate marketing, investment issues and power requirements
  • APA Group – on its $6bn acquisition of the QCLNG Pipeline and the associated long term gas transportation agreements
  • New Century – on its proposed acquisition of the Goro Nickel Mine from Vale
