About Ian McGill
Ian is a corporate lawyer who specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and complex commercial contracts, including technology procurements. His industry expertise is in the fields of technology, media and telecommunications. His clients regard him as 'one-stop shop' for corporate, commercial, regulatory and strategic advice.
He advises on joint ventures, alliances, acquisitions and divestments, access regimes and regulation of most sectors of the information and communication economy. His particular expertise is ownership and control and structural regulation of the converged media and telecommunications industries.

Ian was Deputy Managing Partner and Managing Partner at the firm from 1997 to 1 July 2001. From 1 July 2001 to 31 December 2003 Ian was Senior Executive Partner, Integration and Client Services.
