About Rosanne Meurling
Rosanne provides advice and conducts litigation for a variety of clients in the areas of town planning, environmental and valuation/resumption law.
She has a keen interest in and knowledge of town planning law, being one of the authors of Planning and Development Queensland, a loose-leaf publication about the planning legislation.
Rosanne's clients include developers, statutory authorities and the Queensland State Government.
Rosanne has experience in residential, retail, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, including the approval of master planned developments, the redevelopment of heritage buildings and the negotiation and drafting of infrastructure agreements.
Rosanne has represented clients in planning and environment matters in the Planning and Environment Court and the Court of Appeal, and resumption and compensation matters in the Land Court of Queensland.
Rosanne is a member of the Planning and Infrastructure Committee of the Property Council of Australia (Qld Division), an Honorary Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia, a member of the Planning and Environment Law Committee of the Queensland Law Society and a member of the Queensland Environmental Law Association.
