Kendy specialises in competition and consumer law matters. She regularly assists clients to secure ACCC merger clearance (for domestic and international deals), to respond to the ACCC's investigations, and advises on industry collaborations and strategic arrangements. 

She is a trusted advisor to major corporations in sectors including digital, banking, insurance, payments, healthcare and industrials.

Kendy's recent key matters include advising:
  • Epic Games in two Federal Court proceedings against Apple and Google, alleging misuse of market power, and other anti-competitive conduct regarding mobile app distribution and in-app payment systems—the first big tech antitrust litigation in Australia, this involved complex expert evidence from a range of disciplines (including technology, security, payments, antitrust economics, econometrics, behavioural economics and forensic accounting) and a 16-week trial
  • Sanofi on its acquisition of Vicebio
  • Brookfield on its implementation of a section 87B undertaking offered to the ACCC for its acquisition of up to 100% of Neoen SA
  • Waterlogic Group Holdings on its sale to Culligan Group involving a s87B undertaking offered to the ACCC
  • Veolia Environnement S.A. on the global acquisition by Veolia of Suez S.A. and the implementation of 87B undertakings offered to the ACCC—this deal won the Global Competition Review 2022 Merger Control Matter of the year for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa Region
  • Konecranes Plc on its merger with Cargotec Plc (withdrawn).
