We partner with our clients to solve their legal challenges, enhance their legal function and demonstrate value to their business.
Allens has one of Australia's largest innovation and legal technology teams, and is one of only three organisations to be recognised in the AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies list for six consecutive years. Innovation is an integrated effort across the firm. Our lawyers work collaboratively with technologists, project managers and business teams to deliver high-value and efficient solutions for our clients.
In August 2023 we introduced our own implementation of OpenAI's GPT models, 'Airlie', a secure generative AI solution deployed on Microsoft Azure that enhances efficiency and client service whilst safeguarding their sensitive information (and ours). Alongside Airlie, we adopted Microsoft Copilot and have shared our insights, experiences and risk frameworks with clients as they consider and explore their own generative AI deployments.
Innovation is about more than just technology. Working together to innovate and co-create solutions is part of our culture, and is what helps us deliver real, tangible results. We equip our people with the skills and experiences they need to solve our clients' challenges, now and into the future.
Our people are technical experts, but they’re also trusted business advisers who think bigger, more broadly and more strategically. Together with our clients, we aim to play a leadership role in advancing the legal profession.
Chronology Plus has been recognised in AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies. It is a tool developed for streamlining the creation and presentation of chronologies in disputes and investigation matters, solving a number of pain points experienced by lawyers and freeing them up to focus on the more strategic elements of the matter.
