Nick is experienced in advising on commercial and regulatory matters in the health and food/beverage sectors, including supply and licensing arrangements, government health procurement contracts, marketing authorisation, market access, biosecurity, advertising and promotion, labelling, prohibited practices, challenging regulator decisions and investigations, and health practitioner regulation.

Nick's recent key matters include advising:
  • BGH Capital on healthcare regulatory and supply arrangements as part of its $2.37 billion acquisition of the APAC business of the global Aspen Pharmacare Group
  • Jardine Matheson on the healthcare regulatory aspects of its $3.4 billion acquisition of I-MED Radiology Network
  • QIC on the regulatory aspects of its acquisition of Montserrat Day Hospitals
  • a telehealth provider in judicial review proceedings against the Commonwealth, successfully obtaining withdrawal infringement notices the TGA had issued
  • diagnostic imaging and pathology providers on compliance with prohibited practice provisions under the Health Insurance Act 1973 (Cth), as to leasing and healthcare practitioner incentive arrangements
  • Various multinational pharmaceutical companies regarding:
