Canada Pension Plan Investment Board

as part of the Blackstone consortium, on the $24 billion acquisition of leading Asia Pacific data centre operator, AirTrunk – the largest announced and completed deal of 2024.  

Global Switch

Advised on the $2.12 billion sale of its Australian data centre operations to ASX-listed alternative asset manager, HMC Capital Limited and the DigiCo Infrastructure REIT.

Morrison and CSC and Infratil

Advised on the $1.1 billion acquisition of Canberra Data Centres from Quadrant Private Equity.

Airtrunk

Advised ING and Natixis as the lenders on the $400 million project financing to fund the construction of AirTrunk's initial flagship, hyper-scale data centers in Sydney and Melbourne.  

Equinix's Lenders

Advised on the global data centre provider's US$793.3 million acquisition of Metronode from Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. 

Macquarie Technology

Advised on all aspects of securing approval to expand the datacentre at Macquarie Park including the conduct of land and environment court proceedings to appeal the VA.

Stockland

Acted in connection with Stockland's $2 billion M Park innovation precinct, including a data centre. 

NSW Department of Customer Services

Advised on the establishment and ongoing operation of its GovDC Data Centre Reform Program, including the procurement of the build of two purpose-built data centres with Metronode (now Equinix). 

iSeek

Advised the lenders to a bidder in connection with their proposed acquisition of the iSeek data centers business from Amber Infrastructure.
