Allens advised ResetData and Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI) on a landmark $165 million of senior bridge GPU financing provided by Macquarie Bank’s Specialised and Asset Finance Division – the first financing of its kind in Australia.
The bridge facility will help fund staged procurement and deployment of NVIDIA GPUs for ResetData and complements Centuria’s recent $300 million capital raise.
Allens assembled a national team to advise on the financing solution, drawing on expertise in banking and finance, corporate, telecommunications and technology, and tax.
‘This is the first dedicated GPU financing facility of its kind in Australia. It reflects the rapid emergence of AI infrastructure as a distinct asset class. We're thrilled to have supported the commercial teams to deliver such an important new finance solution for Australian AI infrastructure,’ said partner Renee Boundy.
'By combining innovative financing with disciplined capital management, we have created greater financial flexibility and a scalable platform to support the continued deployment of sovereign AI infrastructure in Australia and for ResetData,’ said Marshall Denning, Group Treasurer, Centuria Capital Group.
The transaction highlights Allens’ market-leading asset and structured financing practice, led by partner Renee Boundy and managing associate Sally Page, whose expertise spans novel financing structures across emerging technology and infrastructure as well as traditional asset classes. Recent mandates include financing for IREN and Firmus.
