Caitlin is dual qualified in New South Wales and England & Wales and advises on a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including direct and indirect acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, financing and asset management. Her practice has a particular focus on capital partnerships, joint ventures and fund establishment.
Caitlin has extensive experience advising a diverse range of clients, from high-net-worth individuals to FTSE 100 and ASX-listed companies.
Recent experience
Caitlin’s recent key matters include advising:
- Stockland: on capital partnerships with EdgeConneX, KKR, M&G real estate, La Caisse and funds advised by J.P. Morgan.
- GPT: on its partnership with CSC in respect of Grosvenor Place, Sydney by way of GPT’s $860m acquisition of a 50% interest in the property.
- Goodman Group: in relation to the establishment of, or investment in, a broad range of capital partnerships.
- Stockland: on the Waterloo Renewal Project.
- Oxford Properties: on the establishment of, and investment in, the Hale Capital Logistics Fund (a capital partnership between Oxford Properties, Hale and Warburg Pincus) and the Hale Capital Investment Logistics Fund 2 (a capital partnership between Oxford Properties, Hale and GIC).
- GPT: on its partnership with Perron Group by way of the $482m i acquisition of a 50% interest in Cockburn Gateway and Belmont Forum shopping centres.
- Warburg Pincus: on the establishment of a capital partnership with Kio Asset Management to develop, manage and operate build -to-rent assets in Australia.
- GPT: on its $600m partnership with GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund in respect of Highpoint and Rouse Hill shopping centres.
- Mapletree Investments: on various acquisitions, disposals and leasing of industrial & logistics and office assets.
- LaSalle Investment Management: on the commercial leasing of its A grade office tower, 88 Walker Street, North Sydney.
