Philip has significant expertise in dispute resolution, restructuring and insolvency, and regulatory investigations. He is a trusted adviser to clients involved in strategic commercial litigation and investigations, including matters where there is corporate financial distress.

His recent matters include acting for Woodside in judicial review proceedings and Federal Court proceedings challenging its primary approval for the Scarborough project; acting for CITIC in its multi-faceted disputes with Clive Palmer's Mineralogy; acting for Bluewaters Power Station in relation to the insolvency of The Griffin Coal Mining Company; and acting for Crown in the Perth Casino Royal Commission.
