He is a sought-after adviser to private equity houses and other financial sponsors on their most significant transactions, including all forms of M&A, consortium deals, exits and portfolio company arrangements.
Josh previously worked in the private equity team at our alliance partner Linklaters in London.

- Bain Capital: on the proposed acquisition of Insignia Financial Limited
- KKR: on its investment in Australian Venue Co, including the joint venture with Coles Group, various bolt on acquisitions and the exit to PAG
- Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners: on its acquisition of a 49% interest in the Onslow Iron haul road, partnering with MinRes
- Blackstone: on its $1.6bn sale of La Trobe Financial to Brookfield
- BGH Capital: on its successful contested take private of Virtus Health
- Pacific Equity Partners: on its sale of WINconnect to Origin, as part of a related investment in Intellihub by Brookfield
- KKR: on its investment in The Arnott's Group, including the $3.4bn acquisition from Campbell Soup Company and various bolt on acquisitions
- IFM Investors: on its acquisition of PRP Diagnostic Imaging from Crescent Capital
- KKR on its proposed $20bn take private of Ramsay Health Care
- Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners: on its acquisition of, and subsequent $3.3bn exit from, PEXA via IPO
- Cerberus Capital Management: on its acquisition of Westpac's auto finance business
- BGH Capital: on its proposed $6bn take private of Healthscope
- Brookfield and Oaktree: on their joint venture arrangements post Brookfield’s US$4.8bn acquisition of a majority ownership stake in Oaktree
