About Roshan Kumaragamage
Roshan Kumaragamage is Head of Legal Technology & Client Services in Integrated Legal Solutions at Allens, based in Melbourne. He leads a multi‑disciplinary team delivering client solutions at the intersection of technology and law, supporting complex disputes, investigations, regulatory engagements and major transactions.
Roshan is a specialist in AI‑enabled legal workflows, including the design and launch of one of Australia’s first generative AI‑enabled document review practices for discovery and investigations. He provides integrated legal, operational and technical leadership, with experience leading and scaling discovery, forensics and emerging technology practices within major Australian firms. His work is informed by principles of information and risk governance, business intelligence and disciplined service delivery, supporting effective decision‑making on matters involving large data volumes, compressed timeframes and regulatory oversight.
Roshan has advised clients on major transactions, commissions of inquiry, large‑scale disputes, internal investigations, cyber and data incident response, legal operations and AI business transformation. He is Chair of the Technology and Innovation Section of the Law Institute of Victoria and previously served on the Commission for the Future of Law and Innovation in the Profession with the Law Society of NSW. In these roles, Roshan has helped shape technology adoption across the profession.
