Allens provides law students with various opportunities to experience working life in a large law firm, while studying for their degrees.
Undertaking paralegal work enables law students to work part-time, while seeing theory put into practice. A number of our offices provide the opportunity to see how things work behind the scenes and to work on the detail that brings together some of our major transactions and matters.
The vacation clerkship programs brought many of our current lawyers and partners into the firm, so these programs are critical to the firm's ongoing growth. Our programs will enable you to find out what it's like to work at Allens, providing a balance of legal work, structured training and skills development.
For details about the various programs or to apply, please click on your preferred Australian city (choose from the left hand menu). Then be sure to visit Student Central for information on writing applications, help with interviews, assignment and research assistance and useful law links.
On 1 May 2012, Allens entered into an integrated alliance with leading global law firm Linklaters. Read about the alliance in our media section.
