Allens' Charity Committee, through the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy (NASCA), sponsored a group of Indigenous children from Dubbo, NSW, to attend the opening of the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE), which was opened by then Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. They were in Sydney for a week, staying at the NCIE's newly renovated accommodation. They were kept busy with various sporting, careers and leadership activities
It
was a life changing experience', the students said.
We will encourage others to behave well and to stay at school. There are lots of options out there, but some just don't know it.
