Allens Arthur Robinson 'threepeats' as Employer of Choice for Women

Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR) has been awarded an EOWA Employer of Choice for Women citation by the Federal Government's Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) for the third consecutive time.

AAR Managing Partner Tom Poulton said: 'Our goal is to allow women and men to have equal opportunity to shine. This helps us best facilitate the careers of our partners and staff across the firm, and it helps us offer our clients people with differing backgrounds and life experiences.

'Our broad range of programs to improve gender access have already had a good effect, but they have the potential to continue to grow in influence across the firm as they become embedded in all our operations.

'There is no doubt that we have further to go with improving gender access, but it is a singular priority and will continue to be so.'
AAR was first awarded the citation in 2005.

The citation recognises those who have demonstrated that they have policies and practices that support women across the organisation and these have had a positive outcome both for women and the business.

According to EOWA, these organisations typically boast women in higher numbers at senior levels, succession plans for women in management, development plans for high achievers, paid maternity leave and high maternity leave retention rates and the ability to work part time at all levels.
