Experience you can count on
Our lawyers and attorneys have been at the forefront of changes to intellectual property law and are regularly consulted by the legal and business communities.
We've successfully acted for clients in major litigation proceedings relating to infringement of patents, trade marks, copyright and designs rights, as well as breaches of confidence and information technology rights.
Our expertise also extends to undertaking investigations of intellectual property misuse, advising on anti-piracy programs and arranging searches for confiscation of infringing materials through customs and liaison with the Federal Police.
We've tackled legal issues arising in the new technologies environment such as internet partnering arrangements, protection of domain names and privacy. We make full use of the range of additional technical qualifications of our team, which includes areas such as chemistry, biotechnology, engineering and computer science.
Regional intellectual property service
Our intellectual property experts assist in the protection of our client's intellectual property rights right across the Asia region.
Our full local practice offices in Hong Kong and Beijing look after the filing and prosecution of trade mark applications, renewals, assignments, licences, oppositions, cancellations, and infringement actions as well as providing legal advice on trade mark matters across Greater China.
In Australia, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea, our team can enforce your intellectual property rights (patents, trade marks, copyright design and confidential information), defend you against infringement allegations and litigate in respect of any intellectual property matter.
