Compliance guides
Complying with legal requirements is part of the day-to-day work of employees of all businesses. The challenge is to teach those employees what those requirements are and provide them with the resources they need to meet their compliance obligations efficiently and effectively.
Part of our service to our clients is to provide the tools needed to meet this compliance challenge. Our compliance guides are not sold as 'stand-alone' products, but rather as part of our overall compliance service. This means that there is a seamless interaction between the personal advice we provide to you and the technology we use to help you spread the message.
Our compliance tools are designed to let you tell us what compliance message you need to spread and we can structure and maintain it to your needs. You pay only for the legal time involved, with a fixed, minimal fee for the information technology infrastructure. We use tools recommended by learning specialists to help with self-paced learning and a robust testing procedure to allow compliance officers to monitor organisational learning.
Format
We can provide compliance guides in different formats to suit our clients' needs. In some instances, such as with Trade Practices Act compliance, we can offer our compliance guides in a variety of mediums including paper, multimedia, or via an online internet-based format.
Our internet-based formats in particular work well as they:
- are not intimidating, are easy to access and find the information a user needs;
- are accessible all day, every day and can integrate easily into your intranet;
- can be inexpensively kept up-to-date by us;
- can include self-paced learning tools; and
- can include testing tools that can be monitored automatically.
Topics
We aim to be able to help you in a cost-efficient manner with any compliance message you need to spread. Topics for which we commonly address compliance needs are:
- Corporate compliance
- Directors' duties
- Environmental compliance
- Occupational health & safety
- Privacy law
- Trade practices law (including Australia, New Zealand & international compliance)
- Workplace relations issues such as discrimination and harassment
