Specialising in property law, Brad advises on a wide range of matters, in particular: acquisition, development and sale of commercial, industrial and retail property; asset management, including leasing and property administration and commercial development.
He has a high level of knowledge and expertise in relation to all types of real property and land holding structures in Queensland, including freehold, subleases and state leasehold.
Brad helps his clients by anticipating their requirements and providing accurate and timely advice. He makes himself accessible to clients at all times.
His particular focus is commercial and retail leasing. He acts for both landlords and tenants and has an understanding of their needs. His role includes preparation and negotiation of leasing documents and handling the legal aspects of property management. He acts for:
- DEXUS across a range of shopping centres in Queensland and NSW;
- Investa in relation to the Australian Government Centre, Brisbane;
- Ray White concerning its leasing needs as a tenant across Australia; and
- Woolworths, both in its capacity as a tenant across Queensland and as a landlord in its marketplace style developments.
Brad has advised on due diligence matters concerning the acquisition of both commercial buildings and shopping centres. His role included reviewing leases, planning and building approvals, and obtaining and reviewing building reports.
