Allens has appointed Melissa Keane as a partner in its Projects team, effective 1 January 2019.
With considerable experience in transactional projects, particularly energy projects, Melissa will relocate to the firm's Hanoi office.
'I am delighted to welcome Melissa as partner. Her experience in commercial projects work - especially across renewable energy projects - complements the demand we are seeing from clients with their pipeline of work,' said Richard Spurio, Managing Partner.
'Melissa has previously spent many years working in Vietnam and Japan, and has developed strong market knowledge and client relationships. She will be a terrific addition to team in Vietnam,' Richard said.
In recent years Melissa has worked on a number of significant energy projects, building her experience across projects including technology (energy metering), transactional (divestments of renewable projects), Power Purchase Agreements, and a range of regulatory and commercial issues in relation to energy initiatives and management of assets.
