Allens has advised Qube Holdings Limited, Australia’s largest provider of integrated import and export logistics services, on its proposed acquisition by a consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management under which the Consortium has agreed to acquire 100% of the shares in Qube by way of scheme of arrangement.
The Allens team was led by partners Tom Story and Charles Ashton and managing associate Elise Blume, who said the high-profile deal was one of the most interesting and complex transactions they had worked on in recent years.
'We're proud to be supporting our long-term client Qube on this significant Australian public M&A deal,' said Partner Tom Story.
'This landmark cross-border deal demonstrates the growing importance of secure and reliant supply chains to the Australian economy and the increasing desirability of Australian infrastructure assets to global private capital,' said Partner Charles Ashton.
Public M&A Managing Associate, Elise Blume, said: 'We are thrilled to support the Qube team on this significant transaction, which demonstrates the strength of Qube's business and is a strong start to the year for the public M&A market.'
Allens' market-leading M&A team has acted on the most of the significant M&A deals in the Australian market. The Allens M&A team is ranked Band 1 in Chambers Asia Pacific 2026.
