Beth Patterson is a globally recognised leader in the development of legal technologies, including the application of artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to deliver innovative and competitive client solutions. Responsible for Allen's alternative services offerings, Beth leads a team of multi-disciplinary professionals, working with lawyers and clients to deliver market leading technologies combined with low cost document review solutions.

She has played a key role in developing the firm's innovation agenda driving cultural change and has been instrumental in leading Allen's digital transformation strategy. With more than two decades of experience, she and her team have worked on many of the largest multinational and global litigation and corporate matters in the Asia Pacific region.

Beth is a recognized thought leader and is a regular presenter at local and international conferences. She recently received the 2017 Lexis Nexis Janders Dean Innovation Special Achievement award for her work in advancing the legal industry. Her innovative contributions to the legal industry saw her receive the 2016 LawTech Legal IT Leader of the Year - Large Firm and the 2015 ILTA Litigation Support Professional of the Year Distinguished Peer Award. She has also been instrumental in leading the Allens a+ Arrow and Lawlab initiatives that have seen Allens win the International Legal Technology Association Innovative Project of the Year Peer Award 2017 and Lawyers Weekly Innovator of the Year Australian Law Award 2017.

With extensive experience directing large teams, she is responsible for a large team of legal, technical, project management and commercial professionals who have built a reputation for excellence and innovation. Her range of experience across industries and countries puts her in a unique position to address the challenges digital disruption brings to the legal industry globally.
