Allens is advising global software and payments provider Xplor Technologies, an Advent International portfolio company, on its acquisition of Ezypay, a multi-award-winning provider of recurring payment collection services in the Asia-Pacific.
The acquisition will enable Xplor Technologies' processing platform, Xplor Pay, to provide a premium subscription management offering to its existing customers, enabling them to more easily enter the region and operate across multiple markets.
'We’re excited to be supporting Xplor Technologies in expanding its regional footprint through the acquisition of Ezypay. The deal highlights the increasing demand for integrated payment solutions across the region, and the role of technology platforms in driving business growth,' said Partner Elyse Adams.
Allens advised on all aspects of the transaction, including M&A, regulatory and due diligence with a cross-practice team of experts in corporate, technology, financial services regulatory, IP, employment and others.
The deal is expected to complete in December 2025, pending any necessary regulatory approvals.
Allens is Australia's number one legal adviser in private equity, and is the only Australian firm ranked in Mergermarket's global top 10 private equity legal advisers for H1 2025.
