About Ross Drinnan
Ross has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic advice to boards and executive teams on a range of commercial disputes. His major work has included class actions, complex commercial disputes, corporate crime, professional negligence and product liability matters. He has also been involved in many investigations and successfully advised on enforcement action taken by a broad range of Australian and international regulators.
Ross led a team of lawyers defending the shareholder class action brought against Aristocrat. This was the first matter of its type to proceed to trial in Australia. He has led the defence teams in many other class actions across a diverse range of scenarios.
Ross has also worked with clients on major investigations – both those which are responsive to regulators and those initiated internally. Ross regularly acts for Westpac, KPMG, Vodafone, Du Pont, Citi, ALE and Aristocrat, among others.
