Allens has continued to advise on major private equity deals in 2014 by acting for Lazard Australia Private Equity on its buyout of Australian infrastructure solutions business Skybridge.

Skybridge specialises in infrastructure and asset management, installation and maintenance for corporate and government clients throughout Australia. Lazard Australia Private Equity manages a range of investments across two funds with assets under management in excess of $450 million.

The Allens team on the matter was led by Partner and Co-head of the firm's Private Equity Practice Mark Malinas, alongside Corporate Managing Associate Emin Altiparmak.

'The deal was diligenced, signed and completed quickly and efficiently, and represents the first time Allens has acted for Lazard Australia Private Equity,' Mr Malinas said.

'We are delighted to have assisted the Lazard PE team on its investment in this innovative and fast growing Australian business.'

This transaction follows the Allens PE team acting on exits for Catalyst Investment Managers and Pacific Equity Partners this year.
