Allens has advised Pamoja Capital on its agreement to sell its majority stake in UniLodge to Samty Holdings, a Japanese accommodation developer and fund manager, following a competitive sale process.

UniLodge is a leading manager of living sector assets in Australia and New Zealand, operating in several sectors, such as purpose-built student accommodation, as well as single and multi-family build-to-rent properties.

The agreement to sell UniLodge to Samty marks Pamoja Capital's largest proposed exit in Australia and New Zealand.

'It has been a privilege to work with Pamoja Capital on this significant transaction, which reflects a more than 15-year relationship between Pamoja and Allens. The transaction is another key milestone in our work for leading private capital investors in the market,' said Partner and Private Capital Sector Leader Emin Altiparmak.

'We are delighted to have advised Pamoja Capital on the full life cycle of its investment in UniLodge, having initially worked on its acquisition of UniLodge back in 2013,' said Partner Hannah Biggins.
