About Laura Banahan

Laura is a Review Services Manager specialising in large-scale document review, project management and legal technology. She works with clients to review scope, establish review strategy and allocate resources. Drawing on her project management experience, she can also advise on the development and implementation of efficient and effective processes and procedures to manage risk and cost.

Laura has significant experience undertaking complex document reviews and has provided document review solutions in the areas of regulatory investigations, class actions, major litigation, inquiries and the Financial Services Royal Commission. Her experience includes working on a review for a Victorian government client for a major inquiry that was completed under a tight timeframe with a large team. 

Prior to joining the ILS team, Laura practised as a banking and finance litigator in London and worked on large-scale disputes for international financial service clients. Working with clients and their in-house teams, Laura provides strategic input on the design and delivery of document review solutions using flexible resourcing models, eDiscovery methodologies and technology such as Nuix Discover, expert systems and artificial intelligence.
