Allens appoints five new partners

Allens has today announced the appointment of five new partners, effective 1 July 2024.

'I am pleased to welcome this terrific group of future leaders to the partnership, all of whom are trusted advisors to our clients. Their practices span the areas of energy, ESG, intellectual property, M&A and tax, being areas of importance to our clients and the economy. We congratulate them on reaching this significant milestone,' said Chair Fiona Crosbie.

'We welcome to the partnership a diverse group with deep expertise in their respective areas. This group demonstrates the varied pathways to partnership, whether that is having commenced their career at Allens, joined the firm more recently, or indeed having spent some time with our alliance firm Linklaters,' said Managing Partner Richard Spurio.

During FY24 Allens also welcomed Natasha Burns and Sonia Millen as partners in our Intellectual Property and Employment and Safety practices, respectively.

In 2022, Allens set a target to reach 40:40:20 by 2025 and we are on track to meet this target on 1 July 2024 - a year ahead of our goal, when we expect more than 40% of the partnership to be women.
