Peter specialises in strategic advice on all aspects of workplace reform (outsourcing/insourcing, redundancies and dismissals), the drafting and negotiation of enterprise agreements and the handling of any industrial action that may arise.
Peter has enormous depth of experience in both commercial and employment related litigation, ranging from the protection of confidential information and enforcement of non-competition covenants to the arbitration and litigation of industrial matters, such as the construction and application of awards and enterprise agreements. In recent years he has defended a number of high-profile claims by senior executives seeking significant damages on termination.
In the health and safety area, Peter not only represents his clients throughout the investigation and prosecution by WorkCover of breaches of the OHS legislation; he also assists them in formulating effective compliance systems and introducing a 'safety culture' within their organisation.
