Allens has again topped the Mergermarket M&A league tables for the third quarter being ranked number one for deal value in Australasia.
This follows the firm's number one ranking for deal value in Australasia by Mergermarket for the first half of 2017.
In response to the league table results, Head of M&A Guy Alexander said:
'This is a great result and reflects the range of transactions on which we have worked during the period, including Vocus Group's response on $2.2 billion proposals from KKR and Affinity Equity Partners; and Aristocrat's $634 million acquisition of Plarium.
'We continue to look at a large number of deals across all sectors, and expect the rest of calendar 2017 to remain strong. We want to thank our clients for entrusting us on their deals.'
