Allens has advised TA Associates on the sale of Honan Insurance Group – a leading specialist insurance broker in the areas of corporate risk, employee benefits and strata and real estate insurance – to Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor and a business of Marsh McLennan.

Allens advised on all aspects of the transaction including TA Associates' original acquisition of Honan Insurance Group in 2020, working closely alongside the Honan management team including General Counsel, Belinda Muir.
The firm has worked on a number of strategic private equity deals in 2023 including Pacific Equity Partners' acquisition of a 50% stake in LMS Energy, Bain Capital's proposed acquisition of Estia and KKR's sale of Australian Venue Co. to PAG.
